- CBT for VMS is a psychiatrist-led, 8-week group psychotherapy program to help patients experiencing vasomotor symptoms (such as hot flashes and night sweats) associated with menopause.
- The program is available virtually across British Columbia.
- The program is free for eligible BC residents with MSP coverage and a referral from their physician or nurse practitioner.

About CBT for VMS Virtual Group Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Vasomotor Symptoms (VMS) is an 8-week, psychiatrist-led virtual group psychotherapy program designed for patients experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, and other vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause.
CBT for VMS groups are delivered virtually to patients across British Columbia, and are fully covered for BC patients covered by MSP with a referral from a physician or nurse practitioner.

About CBT for menopause
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for management of hot flashes, night sweats, and other vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause.
CBT is a helpful treatment for patients experiencing symptomatic menopause who are not candidates for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or who have incomplete relief of symptoms with HRT alone.
